Wei group
aims to define the fundamental roles of several transcription factors (TFs) including the ETS family members (Wei et al.,
EMBO J. 29:2147, 2010), HOXB13, MYC and other novel transcriptional regulators in driving prostate cancer progression to metastasis. We are also interested in the functional interpretation of GWAS-identified risk loci in prostate cancer (see
Huang et al., Nat Genet. 46:126, 2014). We are using integrative genomics approaches such as ChIP-seq, RNA-seq and bioinformatics/computational tools. For research in detail, please visit:

Qualifications:
Postdoc candidates should hold or have a to-be-achieved PhD in molecular cell biology, genomics or a related field.
PhD candidates should hold an MSc degree in bioscience and/or any field of genomics and molecular medicine.
The ideal candidates should have excellent communication skills in English and strong motivation to work in a dynamic and challenging research area of Molecular Medicine and Functional Genomics. The positions are funded by the Academy of Finland and Foundations.
The salary level will refer to Finnish University salary scheme (1800-3000€/month before tax for PhD student, 3000-4100€/month for postdoc). The position
