Oy is a VTT spin-off company developing and commercializing a high-content gene
expression analysis platform called TRAC for global markets. The company offers
its TRAC analysis kits and services to pharmaceutical customers for drug
discovery and safety assays, enabling higher throughput and more information
than competitors’ products. Since starting operations in 2008, PlexPress has
carried out more than 50 evaluation and customer projects in the fields of
pharmaceutical development and academic research. The company’s headquarters
and main facilities are located in Helsinki.
We
are looking for skillful personnel to complete our young, energetic and
innovative team:
Application
scientist
to
develop gene expression analysis methods as part of the technical team. The
tasks include assay development and optimization, application development,
carrying out customer pilot projects, and commercialization of services and
products.
We
expect you to have:
•ᾉPrevious
experience with nucleic acid analysis technologies
•ᾉPrevious experience
with assay and product development and project management
•ᾉMSc or PhD
level education in a relevant field (e.g. Genetics, Biochemistry, Molecular
Biology)
•ᾉGood English
skills (both verbal and written)
•ᾉAnalytical
way of thinking, troubleshooting skills, customer oriented mindset.
