Graduate Student / Post-doctoral position in Immunology
We are seeking to recruit either a graduate student or a post-doctoral fellow to join our growing research group at the Instute of Clinical Medicine, University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio, Finland.
Our translational clinical research project focuses on the immunological disturbances in type 1 diabetes, with a special emphasis on CD4+ T cells and regulatory T cells. We employ a variety of biomedical research methodology, especially cell culture, flow cytometry, cell sorting and molecular biology. The successful candidate will hold either a Master s or a PhD degree (or equivalent). Experience in the methodology described above is advantageous. The initial funding for the position is based on a tax-free grant of 1300-2300 eur/month, depending on qualification. Expected starting date is in autumn 2013.
