neuronal cell culture at the Neuroscience Center, University of

Helsinki, in the group of Eero Castrén.

The successful candidate will be developing automated systems to quantitatively analyze neuronal cell growth, differentiation and survival and the effects of drug treatment s and transfected genes on them. Prior experience in cell culture, preferentially with primary neurons, is an advantage.
