Dear all,

There is a fully-funded MRC PhD studentship available in my group (https://www2.le.ac.uk/departments/molcellbiol/staff/Aude%20Echalier-Glazer/research) starting  next year to work on the regulation of the ubiquitin-like molecule NEDD8, in collaboration with Prof M. Searle (Nottingham) and Dr D. Xirodimas (Montpellier, France). The project description can be found on the following page (University of Leicester section): http://www.birmingham.ac.uk/research/activity/mrc-impact/complex-diseases.aspx
My group is seeking a candidate with strong interest in eukaryotic cell signalling and keen to work at the interface between biochemistry/structural biology and molecular/cell biology to join our research on the ubiquitin system.

Importantly the deadline for application is January 10th.

There are also two PhD studentships focused on the ubiquitin-system available through the BBSRC MiBTP scheme in my group (http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/cross_fac/mibtp/pgstudy/phdopportunities/histone_2a/; http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/cross_fac/mibtp/pgstudy/phdopportunities/ubiquitin/). Further details and application procedure can be found here: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/cross_fac/mibtp/pgstudy/phd_opportunities/application
Deadline:  January 10th

With best wishes,
Aude
