We are looking for a Sales Manager in Diabetes business unit to manage South & West region

As a First Line Sales Manager Diabetes you will contribute to AstraZeneca’s strong diabetes franchise, one of our key growth platforms. Our diabetes portfolio includes several innovative key products like Forxiga™ (dapagliflozin) and Bydureon® (exenatide). Our diabetes offering is the broadest in the market and we continue to launch new products in the near future.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

Person in this role

·      Is rresponsible for implementation of brand strategies according to the account plan in the region

·      Is responsible for leading, coaching and developing the Key Account Managers in the region

·      Takes part in a Local Implementation Team and thereby provides input to brand strategy

·      Has an important role in developing the Business Operational Plan for Finland as a member of  Local Implementation Team

·      Analyzes the development and trends in the region

·      Actively follows the development of the health political environment 

·      Visits key customers in the region

·      Contributes in creation and implementation of innovative sales strategies and activities

·      Is responsible for Segmentation and Targeting process


In order to succeed in the role you have

 

·      Proven track record in leading high performing teams

·      Several years of relevant pharma sales experience with solid sales results

·      Good knowledge in market ethical rules & Finnish health care system

·      Excellent communication skills - fluent written and spoken English and Finnish

·      Excellent interpersonal capabilities in building long-lasting relationships and networks

·      Excellent coaching skills

·      Academic degree or equivalent, commercial or healthcare background

·      Ability and willingness to travel within the region and broader according to project needs

·      Driver’s license
