Dear all,

As some of you may be aware we have agreed to set up a new center to promote Protein Science in Oulu, the emphasis being on structural and functional enzymology. This will be linked to the new "international" MSc in Protein Science and Biotechnology which will start in Autumn 2007.

We urgently need to set up a new web site. While we have a lot of the text and pictures, what we are missing is two fundamental things:

1) A logo  (high resolution, to sit in the corner of every web page and the stationary at a later date)

2) A name (since the name we used through the development process "Proteus" has been taken already by many other organisations around the world).

So if you are artistic and want to design a logo to promote "protein science" then please send your creations to me ASAP. Also if you feel a spurt of "advertising creativity" and come up with an inspirational name (please google it frirst to see how many others are using it) for the new center please let me know.
