Tiedekuntahallitus tukee tiedekunnan johtoa muun muassa tiedekunnan toimenpideohjelman toteuttamisessa ja seuraamisessa, talouden- ja toimintasuunnitelman sekä henkilöstösuunnitelman valmistelussa ja seurannassa sekä asioiden tiedottamisesta henkilöstölle ja opiskelijoille.
Kerro hakemuksessasi pääaineesi sekä missä vaiheessa opintosi ovat, omista tavoitteistasi tiedekuntahallituksen työskentelyssä, motivaatiostasi sekä siitä, mitkä mielestäsi ovat opiskelijajäsenten tärkeimmät tehtävät. Hakukelpoisia tiedekuntien toimielimiin ovat perustutkinto-opiskelijoista ne henkilöt, joiden ensisijainen opinto-oikeus on kyseisessä tiedekunnassa. Valinnassa pyritään kiinnittämään huomiota eri tutkinto-ohjelmien mahdollisimman kattavaan edustukseen.

OYY is still looking for student members to the Faculty Board of Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine. So they are looking biochemistry students as members. The duties of student members are not time-consuming and they look nice in your CV (also from each board meeting, which you attend, you will get 40 €/meeting) -- there is always some coffee etc. at the meetings! The Faculty Board supports the faculty leaders by carrying out and attending to its policy program, preparing and attending to its finance, operations and staffing plans, and communicating with the faculty staff and their students.
Your application should include, at the least, the following information: your major subject and the state of your studies, your own objectives for working in the Faculty Board, your motivations and what, according to you, are the most important tasks of the student representatives. In order to be eligible for applying for the Faculty Board, you must have the primary study right in the faculty in question. When appointing the student representatives, the Faculty Boards aim to have equal representation from as many departments as possible.
