2019 PhD Opportunities at Diamond - Available Now
As a major UK science facility, Diamond offers exciting prospects for PhD students across a wide variety of scientific and technical areas. Each year Diamond co-funds a cohort of PhD studentships, in collaboration with universities, and the 2019 cohorthttps://www.diamond.ac.uk/Careers/Students/Studentships.html is currently recruiting. Please could you share this with anyone who might be interested in applying? The range of subjects available mirrors the breadth of research that can be done at Diamond, spanning from structural biology, through battery technology and on to the latest skyrmion developments, and many more.
In addition to the excellent science that underpins the various projects, each studentship will also develop the facilities and infrastructure at Diamond, to enable us to offer you, the User Community, even more scope for future research. The full range of studentships can be seen on our Studentships pagehttps://www.diamond.ac.uk/Careers/Students/Studentships.html, and we also partner with ISIS, the neutron and muon source, for a range of interdisciplinary projects, also available.
If you have a great idea for a future studentship at Diamond, we would love to hear it. The 2020 Call for PhD proposals will open for applications over the summer.
Best wishes
