Ilmoitusasiat:  

• Jori Otsamo on valittu Histonin toimihenkilöksi nimikkeellä Histonin villi kortti. 

• Histonin college-tilauslomake sulkeutuu huomenna, keskiviikkona 12.10.

Tulevat tapahtumat:  

• 12.10. Lautapeli-ilta 
• Kyseessä ei ole killan virallinen tapahtuma, mutta kaikki kiltalaiset ovat tervetulleita pelaamaan lautapelejä klo. 18-20 Kurkelantie 8:n kerhohuoneelle. Mukaan voi halutessaan ottaa myös omia pelejä.

• 13.10. Mallasapprot 
   
• 14.10. Syysretki Rokualle 
  Defenssin, Histonin ja Motivan yhteinen syysretki Rokuan kansallispuistoon ajoittuu klo. 9-16 välille. Rokualle ja sieltä Ouluun on varattu bussikuljetus, joka pysähtyy Linnanmaalla, Tuirassa ja Oulun linja-autoasemalla. Rokualla kierretään n. 6 km pituinen Syvyydenkierroksen reitti ja matkalla pysähdytään evästauolle. Mukaan siis omat eväät ja ulkoiluun sopiva vaatetus. 
  
   
• 14.10. Sigma-Delta Talobileet 
  Sigma ry kutsuu kaikki OLuTin alaisten kiltojen jäsenet klo. 18 alkaen bilettämään Teekkaritalolle. Turun yliopiston matemaattisten ja fysikaalisten tieteiden opiskelijat, eli tuttavallisemmin Delta ry saapuu Ouluun excuille kyseisenä ajankohtana, minkä takia Sigma toivoo saavansa Talon täyteen. Talolla ei myöskään ole sisäänpääsymaksua kyseisenä iltana.  
   
• 18.10. Kauhuleffailta 
  Leffailta järjestetään Kontinkankaan kampuksella luentosalissaP117 klo. 18-21. Katsottava(t) elokuva(t) valitaan äänestämällä paikalla olijoiden kesken. Mukaan omat leffaeväät. 
   
• 20.10. Halloweenbileet 
  
  Atlaksen, Nikolin, Syntaksiksen ja Histonin yhteiset Halloweenbileet järjestetään Teekkaritalolla klo. 19 alkaen. Lippuja voi ostaa ennakkoon 3 € hintaan Linnanmaalla, vihreiltä naulakoilta 20.10. klo. 10-14 ja ovelta 4 € hintaan. Pukukoodi on nimensä mukaisesti Halloween. Siispä parhaat ja kauheimmat asut päälle ja sankoin joukoin talolle juhlimaan! 
  
   
• 28.10. Alumni-iltapäivä 
  
  BMTK:n vuosittain järjestämä alumni-iltapäivä on ensisijaisesti tarkoitettu fukseille, mutta myös vanhemmat opiskelijat ovat tervetulleita. Alumni-iltapäivä ajoittuu klo. 13-16 välille. Iltapäivässä opiskelijat pääsevät kuulemaan biokemian alumnien uratarinoita. 
  
   
• 1.11. Lautapeli-ilta 
  Histonin ja Terveystieteiden killan yhteinen lautapeli-ilta pidetään Kontinkankaalla Tellus Stagella klo. 18-21.  
  
  
  
• 3.11. Marraskuun Poikkitieteelliset haalaribileet 
  
  
  
• 4.-5.11. Kemiat kohtaa Lappeen Rannoilla 
  
  
  
• 10.11. Tiedekuntapäivä 
• BMTK järjestää tiedekuntapäivän Kontinkankaan Tellus Stagella klo. 14-16. Päivän tarkoitus on tutustuttaa opiskelijoita tiedekunnan henkilökuntaan ja tutkimusryhmiin.

Announcements:  

• Jori Otsamo has been chosen as a new representative of Histoni, which goes by the name “Wild card of Histoni” 

• The college order form of Histoni closes tomorrow, Wednesday 12^th of October 
   
• The anonymous feedback box can be found at the end of the newsletter. 

 

Upcoming events:  

• 12.10. Board game night 
• This is not an official event of Histoni, but everyone is welcome to play board games with other Histoni members from 18-20 at the club room in Kurkelantie 8. If you wish, you can also bring your own games.

• 13.10. Mallasapprot 
  
  
  
• 14.10. Trip to Rokua  
  The joint autumn trip to Rokua National Park by Defenssi ry, Histoni ry, and Motiva ry is scheduled between 9-16. A bus will take the participants to Rokua and later back to Oulu. The bus will stop in Linnanmaa, Tuira, and the Oulu bus station. In Rokua the Syvyydenkierros route (about 6 km) will be covered, and we will stop for a snack break at some point. So bring your own snacks and clothing suitable for outdoors.  
  
   
• 14.10. Sigma-Delta Party 
  Sigma ry invites all members of guilds under OLuT ry to party at Teekkaritalo. The party starts at 18. Mathematical and physical sciences students from the University of Turku, or more familiarly Delta ry, will arrive in Oulu for an excursion at that time, which is why Sigma wishes to fill up the Teekkaritalo. There will be no entrance fee to the party.  
  
   
• 18.10. Horror Movie Night 
  The movie night will take place on the Kontinkangas campus in lecture hall P117 at 18-21. The movie(s) to be watched are chosen by voting among those present. You can bring your own movie snacks.  
  
   
• 20.10. Halloween Party 
  The joint Halloween party of Atlas, Nikoli, Syntaksis, and Histoni will take place at Teekkaritalo, starting at 19. Tickets can be bought in advance for 3 € at the green coat racks in the Linnanmaa campus between 10-14, and at the door for 4 €. The dresscode is none other than Halloween. So put on your best and scariest costumes and head to the Teekkaritalo to celebrate! 
  
   
• 28.10. Alumni Afternoon 
  The annual Alumni afternoon of FBMM is primarily intended for Freshmen, but older students are also welcome. The afternoon is scheduled between 13-16. In the afternoon, students get to hear the career stories of some biochemistry alumni.  
  
   
• 1.11. Board Game night 
  The board game night of Histoni and Terveystieteiden kilta ry will be held on the Tellus Stage of the Kontinkangas Campus at 18-21.  
  
  
  
• 3.11. The Interdisciplinary Overalls Party of November 
  
  
  
• 4.-5.11. Kemiat kohtaa (Chemistries meet) in Lappeenranta 
  
  
  
• 10.11. The faculty day of FBMM 
• FBMM organizes a faculty day at the Tellus Stage of Kontinkangas Campus at 14-16. The purpose of the day is to introduce students to the faculty and research groups.
