Polar Bear Pitching järjestetään tänä vuonna jo kuudetta kertaa. Tapahtuman yhteydessä järjestetään konferenssi, jonka lipuista saa nyt roiman opiskelija-alennuksen. Konferenssissa puhujina ovat muun muassa Fight Back -kampanjan perustanut Pekka Hyysalo, Oculus Riftin kehittänyt Steven LaValle sekä yksi Tubeconin perustajista, Madventuresin ja Docventuresin tuottaja, Risto Kuulasmaa.

Konferenssin ohjelma jakautuu kolmeen teemaan: luovuuteen, teknologiaan ja johtamiseen. Polar Bear Pitchingin konferenssi on mainio tilaisuus verkostoitua vaikutusvaltaisten ihmisten kanssa ja löytää oma suunta tulevalle uralle. Sekä konferenssi että finaali ovat 13.3.2019 Oulun keskustassa.

Polar Bear Pitching on kuuluisa pitchauskilpailusta, jossa startup-yritykset esittelevät yrityksiään avannosta ja hakevat rahoitusta sijoittajilta. Pitchauskilpailu ja kaikki muu Oulun torilla tapahtuva juhlinta on yleisölle ilmaista. Vain konferenssiin ja jatkoille tarvitaan lippu. This year we will be celebrating the sixth Polar Bear Pitching. There is a massive student discount on the price of Polar Bear Pitching conference tickets. The speakers include for example Pekka Hyysalo, who founded Fight Back campaign after his tragic crash in freestyle skiing, Steven Lavalle, one of the founders and technological manager of Oculus Rift and Risto Kuulasmaa, who is one of the founders of Tubecon and the producer of Madventures and Docventures.

There are three themes in the conference: creativity, technology and leadership. Polar Bear Pitching conference boasts with some high-profile speakers, but it’s also a great opportunity to network with influential people and find your own path. Both conference and the pitching competition are held on the 13^th of March in Oulu city centre.

Polar Bear Pitching is famous for the crazy pitching competition, in which startups pitch their business ideas in an ice hole, carved in the frozen Baltic sea. The pitching competition and other festivities held in Oulu market square are free and open for all audience. Ticket is needed only for the conference and afterparty.
