Dr Ashesh Kumar of Medipolis GMP is interested in giving students from our department a chance at industrial exposure during their training.

There is no set period of time and Medipolis GMP will consider applications both towards "Orientation to Research work" and/or the Pro Gradu project. There is also the possibility of financial support in the range 400-600 euro per month for deserving students based on their contribution and interest in active participation and learning.

Medipolis GMP Oy, Oulu, Finland is a biopharmaceutical development and microbial fermentation contract-manufacturing group. Medipolis GMP state of art cGMP facilities is located in Kiviharjuntie 2, Oulu. Medipolis GMP team has successfully undertaken projects on development of recombinant proteins on industrial scale. Recombinant proteins developed by Medipolis GMP has been utilized in clinical studies. Projects are done for groups in Finland / Europe / and USA.

Medipolis GMP Oy would like to review your interest in training and part studies in "an upcoming project" To establish and validate Microbial Expression, Industrial Process Development and Downstream Processing of a Recombinant therapeutic (diabetic care) product. Scale up in cGMP environment may be a possible opportunity in Phase-II of the work.  The purpose for Medipolis GMP Oy is to consider requests from students of University of Oulu for training and involvement for their industrial exposure.
