Postdoc or post-graduate student position available in Professor Karl- Heinz Herzig’s laboratory –Metabolic signaling –Institute of Biomedicine & Biocenter of Oulu, University of Oulu

The group investigates molecular mechanisms in the pathogenesis of metabolic diseases like diabetes and obesity - especially the release and actions of peptides like orexins and others in the intestine, brain, and fat. We utilize state of the art equipment in metabolic phenotyping. Our group belongs to the Nordic Centre of Excellence for Nutrition, Food and Health.
