Hyvä biokemian opiskelija, (IN ENGLISH BELOW)
Uusi tiedekuntamme jatkaa samaa käytäntöä kuin entinen Biokemian laitos, että ulkomaille harjoitteluun tai gradun (erikoistyön) tekoon lähtevälle opiskelijalle myönnetään anomuksesta 200 euron suuruinen matka-apuraha.
Hakumenettely: Vapaamuotoinen hakemus osoitetaan Biokemian ja molekyylilääketieteen tiedekunnan koulutustoimikunnalle, ja hakemuksesta pitää käydä ilmi seuraavat asiat: 1) omat henkilö- ja yhteystiedot (koko nimi, henkilötunnus (tarvitaan rahaliikenteen takia), osoite, puh, email) 2) tiedot matkan perusteesta ja kohteesta: harjoittelu tai opinnäytetyö, ja myös yliopisto tai vastaava, jonne ollaan menossa (mukaan lukien harjoittelun tai opinnäytetyön ohjaajan nimi ja email) 3) ajankohta (lähtö- ja paluupäivä eli matkan kesto) 4) oma pankkiyhteystieto apurahan maksamista varten
Hakemus toimitetaan joko koulutusdekaani Peppi Karppiselle, koulutustoimikunnan vpj Tuomo Glumoffille tai tiedekunnan toimistoon Pia Askoselle.
Hakemuksen käsittely: Koulutustoimikunta suosittelee seuraavassa kokouksessaan tiedekunnan dekaanille apurahan myöntämisen, ja dekaani päättää asian. Tämän jälkeen apuraha menee maksatukseen, mikä prosessi kestää noin 1-3 viikkoa.

Dear biochemistry student,
The Faculty have in place a system of travel grants to those students who go abroad for a training or for doing the experimental part of Master´s thesis; the same as the former Department of Biochemistry had. The amount is 200 euro and is granted upon request.
The procedure is as follows: Write a free-format application letter addressed to the Education committee of the Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine, with the following details included: 1) your personal and contact data (full name, Finnish social security number, address, phone, email) 2) details of the travel and purpose: training or thesis work; university or other place where you are going (including the name and email of the supervisor) 3) the start and end dates (duration) of the travel 4) your bank account number
Bring the application either to Dean of education, prof. Peppi Karppinen, vice-chair of Education committee Tuomo Glumoff, or to the Faculty office to secretary Pia Askonen.
Your application will be dealt with in the next Education committee meeting, and the Dean will then decide on it. Then you can expect the grant to be paid to you within 1 to 3 weeks.
