Opiskelija, tule airueksi Oulun yliopiston yhdenteentoista tohtoripromootioon! Airuena toimiminen on hieno tilaisuus päästä näkemään akateemisen maailman hienoin juhla.

Oulun yliopiston yhdestoista, kaikkien tiedekuntien yhteinen tohtoripromootio järjestetään 27.-29.5.2022. Promootio on arvokkain ja perinteikkäin akateeminen juhla, jossa vihitään tiedekuntien kutsumat kunniatohtorit sekä vuosina 2017–2019 väitelleet nuoret tohtorit.

Jatkamme kutsua toivottaa yliopiston opiskelijoita mukaan airueksi toteuttamaan arvokasta juhlaa! Airuilla on tärkeä rooli tohtoripromootion tapahtumapäivien eri tilaisuuksissa. Airuiden tehtäviä ovat mm. kunniavartio tilaisuuksien aikana, vieraiden vastaanotto ja opastus, miekanhiojaisissa ja promootioaktissa avustaminen sekä muu yleinen opastus päivällisillä ja tanssiaisissa. Tehtävissä airuita ohjaa tohtoripromootion yliairut Johanna Bluemink. Etsimme airueita tasaisesti yliopiston kaikista tiedekunnista. Toivomme airueilta itseohjautuvuutta ja periksiantamattomuutta. Ainutlaatuisen kokemuksen ja uusien tuttavuuksien lisäksi airuet saavat ajastaan ja työpanoksestaan työtodistuksen ja UniOulu-collegepaidan. Airueiksi osallistuneille järjestetään lisäksi kiitosjuhla, karonkka, tohtoripromootiopäivien jälkeen.

The 11th Conferment Ceremony of all the faculties of the University of Oulu will be held on May 27-29, 2022. The Conferment Ceremony is the most prestigious and traditional academic celebration, where the honorary doctors invited by the faculties and the young doctors who have graduated in 2017–2019 will be inaugurated.

We are continuing the invitation for the university students to join us for this great celebration! The heralds play an important role in the various events of the Conferment ceremony's events. The duties of the heralds are e.g. to stand in honorary guard during events, reception and guidance of the guests, assistance with sword-whetting and during Doctoral Conferment Ceremony, and other general tasks during the events.  Johanna Bluemink, the Chief Marshal, directs the heralds. We are looking for heralds equally from all the faculties of the university. We'd like the heralds to be self-imposed and unyielding. In addition to the unique experience and new acquaintances, the heralds will receive a work certificate and a UniOulu-college shirt for their time and effort. In addition to this, there will be organized a thank-you party for the heralds after the Conferment Ceremony.

On the form, you'll also see the schedules for both the Conferment Ceremony events themselves as well as the rehearsals that precede it. Register at the latest on April 19th!
