IMPROV THEATRE COURSE 8.10.2016 at 10.00 – 13.00

Explore the foundations of comedy and theatrical improvisation with an acclaimed performer and facilitator Órla Mc Govern. Improvisation is not only an exciting form of performance art, but also an incredible tool for (among others); unlocking creativity, gaining confidence, generating ideas, problem solving, and teamwork. Recommended not only for those in the creative arts, but also for those interested in expanding those skills in all walks of life! In the workshop we will be playing with some essentials from the improvisation toolbox, including games, character, truth, status, listening, storytelling and spontaneity. Be prepared to have fun, laugh out loud, be silly and surprised, boost your brain-power and amaze yourself! No experience necessary—this is a beginner’s workshop, but all are welcome to come and have fun. The course will be taught in English.

IRISH LANGUAGE WEEKEND COURSE 7-9.10.2016

An bhfuil Gaeilge agaibh? Here’s your chance to experience Irish language in a relaxed and sociable environment. Organized in cooperation with Oideas Gael Irish Language & Cultural Centre, this beginner course will give you insight, instruction and speaking opportunities that are educational and fun. Aisling Ní Churraighín, a qualified teacher and Native Gaelic speaker from the southwest Donegal Gaeltacht will have you speaking Irish amongst new friends before you know it. The course will be taught in English.
