Suomen Biologian Seura Vanamon apurahojen hakukausi 2024 alkaa 1.2.2024. Vanamo myöntää seuransa jäsenille apurahoja vuosittain eri biologian osa-alueille, erityisesti ylemmän korkeakoulututkinnon opinnäytetöihin. Hakuaikaa on vuosittain helmikuu ja apurahan enimmäismäärä on 1500 euroa. Apurahan hakija voi hakeutua seuran jäseneksi apurahahakemuksen yhteydessä.
Lisäksi vuonna 2024 on julistettu hakuun Taina Kuusen apuraha (5 000 euroa), jota voi hakea kehitysbiologiseen tutkimukseen. Haku tapahtuu samaan aikaan ja samalla lomakkeella kuin Vanamon muut apurahat.

Hakija voi jättää hakemuksensa liitteet (työsuunnitelma, kustannusarvio, ansioluettelo) myös englanniksi, mikäli hakijan äidinkieli on muu kuin suomi. ********************************** The funding call of The Finnish Society for Biology (Vanamo) for 2024 opens 1.2.2024. The society provides funding for especially Master’s theses in all fields of biology. The call for applications is open for February 2024 and the maximum amount of funding per applicant is 1500 euros. The grant can be awarded only to a member of the society, but you can apply for membership during the application process.
Additionally, the Taina Kuusi grant call for research in the field of developmental biology is open. The grant is 5 000 euros, and the application period and form are the same as in other Vanamo grants.
The society if open for applications with attachments (research plan, budget and CV) written in English, if the applicant does not speak Finnish. However, we do require the title, summary of the project and the application form to be filled in in Finnish.
