At Café Lingua & Language Games evening, you can practice new languages
without long lectures, homework and tests. Do you need to improve your
language skills? Or maybe you would like to teach someone how to speak
your native language? Activites take place nearly every week.

Café Lingua & Language Games is an event organized by the Language and
Communication Studies of the Extension School and ESN Oulu OYY. It takes
place on Wednesdays from 5 to 7 pm, usually in Aula-ravintola. Small
groups are formed according to the languages the participants speak. If
there is no one speaking the particular language you want to learn or
practise, you can always join the English speaking group or simply start
your own table! And remember that you are welcome to teach other
participants how to speak e.g. your mother tongue. In case, you don’t
want to just chat, there are also board games in different languages you
can choose from.

If you attend Café Lingua and other Finnish culture activities 13 times
and remember to collect signatures into your Culture Passport each time,
you will be rewarded with 2 ECTS credits from the Extension School.

Sign-up not necessary – just come downstairs to Aula restaurant, meet
and chat with new people! Don’t forget to invite your friends!
