The event is free of charge, but requires registration through Eventbrite.Eric Ries is a serial entrepreneur from Silicon Valley and he will describe the new type of startup model called the Lean Startup. He isthe co-author of several books including The Black Art of Java GameProgramming (Waite Group Press, 1996). While an undergraduate at YaleUnviersity, he co-founded Catalyst Recruiting. Although Catalyst foldedwith the dot-com crash, Ries continued his entrepreneurial career as aSenior Software Engineer at There.com, leading efforts in agile softwaredevelopment and user-generated content.
