I will start as an academy research fellow in Mart Saarma�s laboratory at the Institute of Biotechnology, University of Helsinki, from September 1st, 2011. I have open positions at various levels and I am looking for a Ph.D. student and a post doc researcher to work on projects involving neuroregeneration. My research is focused on ischemic brain injury, Parkinson�s disease and gene therapy and we are trying to find novel treatments by modulating neural progenitor cells, neuroinflammation and neurotrophic factors.
Experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmacology or animal physiology is required.
