PhD/postdoc position in Pirta Hotulainen group at Neuroscience Center, Univerity of Helsinki
Our group is studying the molecular mechanisms of memory and learning by studying the dendritic spine dynamics and how dynamics are regulated by underlying actin cytoskeleton.
For further information, please see our web-sites: http://www.helsinki.fi/neurosci/hotulainen.html http://www.helsinki.fi/neurosci/hotulainenlab/index.html or contact Pirta Hotulainen (pirta.hotulainen-at-helsinki.fi).
PhD STUDENT POSITION: We are looking for a PhD student preferably with education or experience in the field of neuroscience. Know-how or interests in microscopy techniques and/or molecular biology are favorable. The specific project will be tailored according to skills and interests of the PhD candidate. The research is carried out in Neuroscience Center, University of Helsinki. Applications should be sent to the project leader Pirta Hotulainen, latest by October 15th, 2011. The applicants are encouraged to apply early, as the position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate has been found.
