-IN ENGLISH- Oulu Arctic Gaming ry is again organizing the Oulu Academic Kynäri Cup, a Counter-Strike 2 tournament taking place in October. All students at the University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences are welcome. This time, alumni (already graduated players) are also accepted! Registration opens on September 17, 2025, and is free for everyone. The winning team’s players will be awarded official OAKC medals. There will also be overall patches available! The tournament will be held on October 24–26. Matches will mainly be played between 17:00–21:00. You can register as an individual player, an incomplete team, or a full roster. The organizers will form balanced teams from individual players, who will then compete in the tournament. So if you don’t yet have a team, you’re still welcome to join as a player! Don’t hesitate to sign up. Team registration is done by the captain on behalf of the team, and each team can include five players plus up to two substitutes. To participate, each player needs a free Faceit account. Teams may also submit their team logo to the organizers if they wish. Tentatively, the first day of the tournament will be Friday, October 24 from 17:00–21:00. On Saturday, October 25 matches will be played from 15:00–20:00. The tournament culminates in the grand final on Sunday, October 26 at 17:00, where the OAKC 2025 champion will be decided. The schedule will be confirmed before the tournament begins and communicated to team captains.
