Yliopisto on myöntänyt 16 harjoittelutukea Biokemian ja Molekyylilääketieteen tiedekunnalle v. 2014. Määrä on 4 vähemmän kuin edellisinä vuosina. Vähennys
ei johdu siitä, että olemme jatkossa oma tiedekunta, vaan siitä, että tuen määrää on vähennetty koko yliopiston tasolla.
Ko. meille kiintiöity 16 tukea on voimassa 1.1.- 30.4. eli vähintään 16 biokemian opiskelijaa saa tuen (harjoittelusopimus solmittava tänä aikana, mutta
harjoittelu voi tapahtua myöhemmin). 1.5. lähtien koko yliopiston tasolla siihen mennessä käyttämätön tuki tulee uudelleen hakuun, mutta ilman tiedekuntakiintiöitä. Eli jos biokemian opiskelijoita jää ensivaiheessa ilman tukea (halukkaita enemmän kuin16),
tuen voi saada 1.5. jälkeen, jos sitä on vielä jäljellä.
Toistaiseksi halukkaita on ilmoittautunut minulle 8 (5 LuK-vaiheen opiskelijaa ja 3 maisterivaiheen opiskelijaa, joista 2 kans.väl. ohjelmasta). Ilmoittautumisaika
jatkuu 15. TAMMIKUUTA 2014 asti. Tämä sen takia, että kaikilla halukkailla on vielä aikaa ilmoittautua, ja toisaalta tuen saavat pääsevät hakemaan harjoittelupaikkoja mahdollisimman pian. Tuen saajat valitaan heti 16.1., mikäli mahdollista. Jos halukkaita
on silloin korkeintaan 16, kaikki saavat tuen; mikäli on enemmän, tuet jaetaan Histonin kanssa sovitun periaatteen mukaisesti.
Aikaisemmin lähettämäni ilmoittautumisohjeet ovat myös tämän viestin liitteenä. DEADLINE siis 15.1.
Tarkat hakuohjeet ja menettely tullaan ohjeistamaan tuen saajille.

The University has given 16 supported training places to the Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine for the year 2014. It is 4
less than previous years – not because we are separated from the Faculty of Science in the future, but because the amount of support at the university level has been reduced.
The quota of 16 is valid between 1.1. and 30.4., that is, at least 16 biochemistry students will get the support (training agreement must
be signed during this time, but the training may take place also later). 1.5. onwards those students who did not get the support may apply again (if there is unused support left from other Faculties), but then there are no Faculty quotas – first come, first
served.
So far 8 students have express their interest to apply for the training support (5 Bachelor students and 3 Master students, of which 2
from the International MSc program). There is still time until JANUARY 15th to act according to the instruction attached to this mail also. Recipients of the support will be decided 16.1. if possible. This is because on the one hand everyone has
a fair chance to express their interest, and on the other hand those who will get the support can begin searching for the training place as soon as possible.
Full instructions on how the application process goes will be communicated to those who get the support.
