The international PhD program of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg offers excellent research opportunities at the forefront of basic, epidemiological and translational cancer research.

Applications are invited from international students holding the equivalent of a university Master’s degree. PhD students at the DKFZ typically have a background in (molecular) biology, (bio)chemistry, (bio)physics, computational biology/computer science or epidemiology/public health studies. Research experience and excellent English skills are a prerequisite.
