AstraZeneca Nordic-Baltic marketing company is now looking for three

 

Medical Advisors

 

Positions are based in Espoo office, Finland

 

The role

The medical advisor provides medical and scientific support of External Customers and Internal Stakeholders on AZ’s marketed products, and compounds in development in the certain Therapeutic Areas: Cardiovascular and Metabolic diseases (CV or Diabetes) or Oncology.

 

In Medical Advisor Oncology position you provide scientific support in Finland and the Baltic countries, CVMD positions cover primarily Finland. Medical Advisor Diabetes position is a temporary study leave replacement for two years, Oncology and CV positions are new and permanent.

·         Responsible for internal training in assigned disease areas and across the portfolio

Minimum experience

·         Master degree in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry or natural sciences

·         Thorough knowledge of, or experience from  the pharmaceutical industry, in particular from the Medical Affairs or MSL functions

·         Fluent in English and Finnish

·         Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, health care systems and payer structures in Finland

·         Possesses business oriented thinking, and can apply this without compromising the scientific elements of the work

·         Proven ability to understand, assimilate and communicate scientific information

·         Ability to build strong professional relationships internally and externally

·         Structured and organized

·         Being able to keep deadlines without compromising on quality

·         High ethical standard and good knowledge in pharmaceutical marketing ethical framework

 

Preferred experience/requirements

·         Clinical Experience

·         Experience in the therapeutic areas in question (CV, Diabetes or Oncology)

·         Advanced scientific degree

·         Project management experience
