MSc student position open in the group of Dr. Inari Kursula,
Department of Biochemistry, University of Oulu and Centre for
Structural Systems Biology, DESY, Hamburg
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated student with a keen
interest in protein chemistry and structural biology to join our young
group for an MSc (pro gradu) project for about six months, starting as
soon as possible (early 2012). The work can be performed in our
laboratories either in Oulu or Hamburg, or shared between both.
My group is working on proteins regulating the actin-based motility of
the malaria parasite (Plasmodium). The current project deals with
biochemical and structural characterization of domains of the two
Plasmodium formins. More information on our group and projects can be
found at our website: http://www.desy.de/~inari/lab
Informal enquiries by e-mail are most welcome.

Applications should be sent by e-mail to Inari Kursula and will be
considered until a suitable candidate has been found.
