Dear junior scientist, have you ever wondered how much career planning is really necessary? What career paths are possible within the life sciences and how do I have an impact? Biobio Junior Section, supported by the 60-year anniversary of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS), has organised a panel discussion around these questions. Suvi Haimi, Co-founder of Sulapac and Emma Raitoharju, Academy Research Fellow at Tampere University will talk about their careers in the first panel. In the second panel, Irene Diaz-Moreno, Chair of the FEBS Career Young Scientists Committee and Professor at the University of Seville and Mario Brandenburg, Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Education and Research, will provide their insights into how organizations such as FEBS can shape one's career and how scientists can work together with politics to implement policies. Join us on 29th of October 16:00 - 19:30 EEST via Zoom or in person at Tampere University, Arvo, room F115. Please register using this link.https://forms.gle/meNYPR7BaVxkcJk69
