Welcome to
the Finnish Conference of Environmental Sciences, December 10.-11.12.2019 in Mikkeli, Finland. The conference will take a place in South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences. The theme is “Circular Economy and Sustainable Growth”.
Keynote speakers from abroad are prof. Marianne Thomsen from the Aarhus University, Denmark and
prof. Martin Charter from the University for Creative Arts, UK.

grants.
We are also looking suggestions for the best PhD thesis from the environmental sciences that has been finished during a time period of 3/2017-10/2019. The thesis will be awarded
in the conference.
