Dear all,

Just a few updates/reminders.

1) I have moved office and am now in BK220

2) If you are going abroad e.g. for Pro Gradu please remember that the department has travel grants. These are only small sums of money (170 euros), but it is easy to apply for and every student who has gone abroad as part of their studies has got one if they applied.

3) When submitting your Pro Gradu please DOUBLE check the copies you hand in. They are what is marked. There have been two cases in the last year where students have handed in a copy with bits of the thesis missing. Converting between different versions of Microsoft just to print out is especially dangerous.

4) Please remember that you need to submit your study plan for Pro Gradu work at LEAST two weeks before you plan to start. If the exact start date is open to question e.g. you are doing it abroad and visas etc are not sorted out, submit a study plan with the most probable date on it and then if the start date changes notify me of the new date.

VBW,

Lloyd
