Two issues that I think need mentioning:

1) The amount of student feedback seems to be getting less year on year. Please can you try to give feedback on ALL courses at the end of the course. This can either be via the paper-based form handed out by staff during the course or via our web pages (http://www.biochem.oulu.fi/studies/index_e.html bottom right hand corner "give feedback on courses" and "give general feedback"). Annonymous student feedback is essential for us to try to deliver the best quality teaching.

2) There seems to be a growing trend of similar looking coursework, e.g. practical scripts, being handed in. Please remember that while working together in pairs or small groups and other discussion of biochemistry is encouraged, any form of plagarism or copying of work from other students is not allowed under university regulations. Unless you have been told that you can hand in joint work (and it should be clearly labelled as such), each student should hand in individual work.
