Job Description: A PhD student position in the field of immunobiology is available at the School of Medicine, University of Tampere, Finland. The successful candidate will work in the Celiac Disease Study Group (University of Tampere and Tampere University Hospital) under supervision of Academy Research Fellow, docent Katri Lindfors and professor Katri Kaukinen. The general aim of the research project is to study the biological effects of celiac disease-specific antibodies.
Conditions: The position will open in December 2012 or as soon as possible and will be filled for 2-4 years including a trial period of 4 months. Extension of funding possible. The salary for a PhD student will be based on levels 2-4 of the demands level chart for teaching and research personnel in the salary system of Finnish universities, supplemented by personal work performance.
Requirements: The successful candidate has MSc, MD or equivalent degree. Primary working languages are Finnish and English.
