Zora is now providing an opportunity for a Bioinformatician
The job consists of statistical work and bioinformatics work for both customer as well as R&D projects. Additionally, support for development of company's bioinformatic infrastructure, application of existing data processing methods and development of algorithms for data integration may be additional tasks. You must be dynamic, independent, and responsible team worker to succeed in this position. Fluency in written and oral English is essential.
Qualifications:
- Degree (MSc) in bioinformatics, or biochemistry with good knowledge of bioinformatics.
- Alternatively, degree in statistics with experience or interest in biological/medical research.
- Knowledge of SAS, R or similar.
- Experience with one or more of the following is an advantage: mass spectrometry data processing, development of algorithms for QC and raw data processing, clinical databases, statistical modeling techniques, analysis of omics data, programming.
