Wapun avajaiset 2021!
Wappu tulee kuin tuleekin myös tänä vuonna! Wapun avajaisia juhlitaan eeppisen etäsuunnistuksen muodossa pe 23.4.2021 klo 18 alkaen. Suunnistusjoukkueet kerääntyvät Zoomin ääreen taistelemaan tämän suuren etäsuunnistuksen finaalipaikoista - ja parhaat heistä pääsevät finaaliin kamppailemaan koko suunnistuksen voitosta! Kuten suunnistukseen kuuluu: luvassa on vaihtelevia, haastavia rasteja sekä heittäytymistä. Teemana suunnistuksessa toimivat videopelit - nyt on aika kaivaa kaappiesi syövereistä se Mario Kart tai PAC-MAN -asu tai luoda sellainen. Myös paras asu palkitaan!
Kerää siis kasaan oma joukkueesi ja ilmoittaudu mukaan tähän wapun säväyttävimpään tapahtumaan! Ilmo aukeaa 8.4. klo 12:00. Joukkueita otetaan mukaan rajattu määrä, joten ole nopea! Deadline joukkueiden ilmoittamiselle on 21.4.2021. Joukkueiden jäsenet voivat kokoontua saman tai eri katon alla, sillä joukkueet saavat oman breakoutroomin, jossa suorittaa tehtäviä. Otattehan voimassa olevat rajoitukset huomioon, mikäli päätätte kokoontua saman katon alle. Rastitehtävien suorittaminen vaihtelee rastista toiseen, ja se voi sisältää videon/kuvan lähettämistä tapahtuman Discord-kanavalle tai kommentointia Zoomin chättiin.
Finaali alkaa noin klo 22. Suunnistuksen kolme eniten pisteitä kerännyttä joukkuetta pääsee kisaamaan tähän videopeli-huipennukseen ja kamppailemaan huikeista palkinnoista.

Wappu opening 2021!
Wappu is coming also this year after all! Wappu opening will be celebrated on Friday 23.4.2021 at 18:00 as remote-orienteering. Orienteering teams will gather on Zoom to battle against each other and best of them will reach to finals - and the finalists will compete for victory! As part of the orienteering there will be various, challenging tasks and other fun activities. The theme of this remote-orienteering is VIDEOGAMES - now is the time to dig into the depths of your closets and be a Mario Kart or PAC-MAN or anything you can create. The best outfit will also be rewarded!
So gather your own team and sign up for this most exciting Wappu event! The sign-up opens on Thursday 8.4.2021 at 12:00. There are limited amounts for teams so be quick! Deadline for team sign-ups is 21.4.2021. Team members can gather under the same or different roof, teams will get their own breakout-rooms where to complete the tasks. Please take the existing restrictions into notice, if you decide to gather all in the same place. Completing orienteering-tasks varies from task to task and can include sending video/image to the discord-channel of the event or commenting on Zoom's chat.
The final starts at about 22:00. The three teams with the most points will get to compete on this videogame-climax and fight for amazing prizes.
