A PhD position in Supramolecular Drug Delivery is available at the Division of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, University of Helsinki, together with the Biohybrid Materials group at Aalto University.
The objective of this project is to synthesize and assess new dendrimer-based entities in the context of therapeutic drug delivery. The successful candidate should hold an MSc in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry or other relevant degree in Natural Sciences. Experience with organic synthesis, especially dendrimer synthesis, is highly desirable. Knowledge of electron microscopy, optical microscopy, NMR, bioconjugation and cell or molecular biology is also appreciated.
