Dear all,

There have been questions regarding the reference style we ask for in the Pro Gradu, which does not match the style recommended by the university library (or others).

We are now changing the reference style, making it more flexible.

Any appropriate biochemistry journal reference style can be used for the references in future so long as:

1)      A consistent style is used throughout the Pro Gradu i.e. no mixing styles

2)      So long as the style includes the author name in the main text e.g.  “as previously observed for pERp1 (Jones et al, 2009)” and not for example “as previously observed for pERp1 [24]”

Best wishes,

Lloyd
