A postdoctoral position is available at the Institute of Medical Technology, University of Tampere, in the Protein Dynamics research group, headed by Dr. Vesa Hytönen.
Our research focuses on the conformational changes in proteins associated with cellular adhesion. The project will combine experimental and computational biology in order to reveal molecular mechanisms behind mechanotransduction.
We are looking for postdoctoral researcher with previous experience in some or all of the following: cell culture, molecular biology, microscopy, protein characterization and computational biology.
