Grant Applications to the Biomedicum Helsinki Foundation 2013
Biomedicum Helsinki Foundation supports high-quality research in clinical medicine and related biomedical and/or health sciences. The Board of Biomedicum Helsinki Foundation awards grants for these purposes. The awarded grants will be published and grants will be paid on the Biomedicum Helsinki Day, 23 October 2013.
In this year (2013), the Foundation will allocate 150 000 € for grants to support young scientists. These grants are meant only for graduate students working towards their doctoral degree, and the same person can receive this grant maximally twice.
In addition, the Foundation will allocate 50 000 € to support post-doctoral training abroad of a clinical investigator or, alternatively, to support a research project of a clinical specialist with an M.D., Ph.D. degree who is at an early stage of his/her research career development.
From the borreliosis fund will be awarded 30 000 € as a research grant (theme areas: borrelia infections and chronic infectious central nervous system or joint diseases); this grant is open for all applicants. Application dead-line: 1 April – 31 May, 2013 at 4 p.m.
