A PhD position is available for a project on the role of folding factors of the endoplasmic reticulum for the initiation of fibrin formation promoting blood coagulation and wound healing. While wound healing is an evolutionary ancient process, its dysregulation is of major relevance for frequent pathologies such as cardiovascular diseases and carcinoma.
The work will include experiments at the molecular, cellular and whole organism level.
We are looking for a dedicated, flexible and ambitious person who has recently completed his/her degree in Biological sciences or related subjects.
Excellent marks at the final exam are mandatory.
