this message is directed towards students at FBMM who started their studies in the International MSc programme.
The University of Oulu Marketing, Communication and Public Affairs section coordinates and Alumni Ambassador programme that was initiated already a couple of years ago to promote our programmes and help us in our recruiting efforts. Due to recent changes, promotion of our programme will become even more important to keep it going on the high level that it has been at for the previous years. Potential applicants are likely to read our advertising blurbs, but it will be much more informative if they can get in touch with former students of our programme, or even with students currently in the programme, and get first-hand information. FBMM IMP students and alumni have not yet participated as Alumni Ambassadors. If you believe - as we do - that our IMP provides training and education of a high international standard and an inspiring, nurturing and fun environment for MSc students, and you would like to share your experiences at FBMM, you should consider volunteering for this programme. You will find this an excellent opportunity to hone your communication and presentation skills, and interact with young students that are interested in the same topics that you were when you applied here and will have the same questions you had back then, please apply to become our alumni ambassador. UofO Marketing, communications and public affairs will organize training for alumini ambassadors, which are reputed to be exciting and a lot of fun.
