An ideal candidate has experience in high complexity molecular testing and working in a clinical laboratory. Experience in NGS and DNA testing is highly regarded. We offer challenging work in an innovative, dynamic and motivated team of physicians, geneticists, bioinformaticians and DNA biologists.
You will be performing highly complex laboratory testing (NGS and Sanger sequencing) on patient specimens including all steps from sample processing to running analyses, performing quality control and quality assurance procedures, and complying with applicable laboratory requirements and international standards. The work requires excellent attention to detail, effective verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task and be flexible with assignments and schedules, and the ability to work independently in a team environment.

EDUCATION: Required education: Biomedical Laboratory Scientist ("Bioanalyytikko" in Finnish). Preferred education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Life Sciences.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum experience: 2 years of molecular diagnostics or biomedical research laboratory experience. Beneficial experience: NGS and DNA analysis methods. Operating laboratory equipment.
