Hello,
The annual spring meeting of Histoni will be arranged on
tomorrow, Tuesday 8th of March 2016, starting at 6 PM at restaurant Caio at Kaijonharju. All members of Histoni are welcome to join this meeting (which will be held in English if need be). Afterparty
is held afterwards the annual spring meeting at Kaijonharju!
In this meeting
we will vote for the students' opinion on a plan of major change in our international master's degree program so please, come to vote and voice your opinion! Notice that this is only a plan, but it still requires the opinion from biochemistry
students. The plan is to create a new international master's degree program, which is 90 ECTS credits (1 year of education) and its' aim is to be a stepping-stone for making a doctoral thesis. Beside this program there
would be our Finnish master's degree program (120 ECTS) as it is nowadays. So the chance applies only to international master's degree program! This new degree program would have a study
fee for non-EU/EAA students (there would be some tuition scholarships -- but
not for everybody). This plan has been created to react to the new challenges of
academic education set by Finnish government. More information about the plan can be heard at the meeting, so please come and listen!
