1.FEBS2025
annual meeting
The 49th FEBS Congress, hosted by the Turkish Biochemical Society, will be held 5–9 July 2025 in Istanbul, Türkiye. For more information, visit

If you are a PhD student or postdoc, you might also like to explore the webpages introducing the 2025 FEBS Young Scientists' Forum (YSF), a special satellite event just ahead of the Congress.

2. FEBS Young Scientist Forum
FEBS YSF 2025 will take place from July 2nd to 5th, 2025, just before and in conjunction with the 49th FEBS Congress in Istanbul. A selected group of ~100 PhD students and postdocs will meet
a tremendous lineup of invited speakers to talk science and network next to the beautiful Lake Sapanca—a scenery to be remembered forever.
FEBS will provide financial support for participation in the FEBS YSF and the ensuing FEBS Congress to those selected from FEBS countries to take part in the YSF. YSF grants in 2025 can only
be used to support participation in the 24th FEBS YSF and 49th FEBS Congress, and those selected must attend both the YSF and the Congress. Grants will cover registration and accommodation in shared rooms (for both events) and up to 80% of the travel costs
to and from Istanbul, Türkiye, up to a maximum of 350 EUR.
