Hey Wappu people!

International and Cultural Sections of the student union, ESN and NISO are proud to invite you all to join our INTERNATIONAL PARADE throughout the university at the beginning of the Wappu-week!

Dress up in your national colours or make yourself a parade costume, and take yourself to the far end of the University on Tuesday 23rd of April. Parade is going to start at 11.30 am from the University main building (in front of Saalastinsali) and it travels to the other end of the university, to the Department of Education with great deal of attention and noise!

With this event we want to bring together all the exchange and degree students and all the other internationally minded people in the university and show up in the corridors of the Linnanmaa campus. Aim is to gain visibility for foreign students in Oulu and for internationalization in general. At the same time we also start the carnival time of the year, the Wappu-week!

After the event we are going to arrange you some refreshment and snacks near the OYY office :)

COMPETITION

Participants can also take part to a costume competition and make teams consisting of 5-8 persons. The most noisy and most prominent team will be rewarded! Instructions for competition informed soon in the Facebook event. Follow the newsfeed!
