Biochemistry students (3rd year and Master programs):

University will again deliver training support money, which is meant to help as many students as possible to get working life experience of their own field during studies.

The amount of support is 1600 euro per student irrespective of the duration of the training.

The employer will get the support provided that: - the training lasts at least 1,5 months - the salary paid for the trainee (student) is at least 1071 euro per month (the duration may be longer and the salary higher, of course; this is something that the student needs to negotiate with the employer)

If the training is done in University of Oulu, the salary will be 1261 euro per month.

The Department of Biochemistry has been granted 16 x 1600 euro to support training of our students.

Instructions on how to apply for the support will be made available latest next week. The support is meant for 3rd year and Master program students. The support cannot be given to a student who has got it earlier.
