Histoni ry:n kevätvuosikokous järjestetään ti 8.3 klo 18 alkaen ravintola Caion kabinetissa Kaijonharjussa. Kokouksessa käydään läpi mm. tilinpäätös ja toimintasuunnitelma tälle vuodelle sekä päätetään edellisen vuoden hallituksen vastuuvapaudesta. Kaikki Histoni ry:n jäsenet ovat tervetulleita päättämään killan asioista. Kokouksen asialista on liitteenä.

Kokouksessa myös äänestetään killan mielipiteestä koskien suunnitelmaa kansainvälisen maisteriohjelman uudistamisesta. Suunnitteilla on kansainvälinen maisteriohjelma, joka olisi ainoastaan 90 op:tä (~1 v opiskelua), ja jonka tavoitteena on toimia ponnahduslautana väitöskirjan tekoon. Rinnalla säilyisi suomalainen maisteriohjelma samantapaisena kuin nyt. Tarkempia tietoja asiasta luvassa paikan päällä, joten tule paikalle kertomaan oma mielipiteesi ja äänestämään!

Hello,

The annual spring meeting of Histoni will be arranged on Tuesday 8th of March starting at 6 PM at restaurant Caio at Kaijonharju. All members of Histoni are welcome to join this meeting (which will be held in English if need be). The agenda of the meeting is attached to this email.

In this meeting we will vote for the students' opinion on a plan of major change in our international master's degree program so please, come to vote and voice your opinion! Notice that this is only a plan, but it still requires the opinion from biochemistry students. The plan is to create a new international master's degree program, which is 90 ECTS credits (1 year of education) and its' aim is to be a stepping-stone for making a doctoral thesis. Beside this program there would be our Finnish master's degree program (120 ECTS) as it is nowadays. So the chance applies only to international master's degree program! This new degree program would have a study fee for non-EU/EAA students (there would be some tuition scholarships -- but not for everybody). This plan has been created to react to the new challenges of academic education set by Finnish government. More information about the plan can be heard at the meeting, so please come and listen!
