The way badminton reservations are organized at Linnanmaa sportshall is changing. Beginning next week, badminton courts can be reserved through Internet, one reservation at a time per person, no more than one week in advance. The university secretary of sports wants to remove the generally poorly used weekly badminton shifts of guilds to free more time slots for the new system, and as Histoni has a weekly badminton shift (currently on Tuesdays 16:00-17:00), this concerns us as well. From the point of view of using limited resources more efficiently, and considering that our badminton shift appears to have been in use only randomly, I think it makes sense to make it available as part of the new system.
