Dear biochemistry students! Hyvät biokemian opiskelijat!

Important reminder:

Some of you may have been travelling aboard during your holiday and will soon be returning to studies. Please, note that the university's travel guideline states that if you are returning from a country that is risk area according the listing by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs a 14-day quarantine is a MUST. Please follow the Ministry's listing on a daily basis because changes are likely to occur. Until yesterday the University's guidelines concerned returns from all foreign countries, but has now been relaxed to concern the official risk area countries.

In addition to travel guidelines please also remember to obey instructions when on the campus. Keep the 1-2 m safety distance at all times in labs, offices, guild room etc. and remember hand hygiene. University corona information was updated yesterday: https://www.oulu.fi/university/coronavirus/

Much of the teaching will take place remotely. Lab courses will be organized as normally as possible. More specific instructions for the early semester courses will come from course teachers in the near future.

Tärkeä muistutus:

Mikäli olet ollut ulkomaan matkalla loman aikana ja olet palaamassa töihin kampukselle, ota huomioon yliopiston velvoitus 14-päivän karanteenista, jos kohdemaasi on Ulkoministeriön riskialuelistalla. Lista päivittyy koko ajan, joten seuraa sitä ja toimi kulloinkin voimassa olevan mukaisesti. Eiliseen asti yliopiston sisäinen ohjeistus koski kaikkia maita, mutta on nyt muutettu noudattamaan Ulkoministeriön ohjetta.

Matkustusohjeiden lisäksi muistakaa noudattaa muita koronaepidemiaan liittyviä ohjeita kampuksella ja tiedekunnan tiloissa. 1-2 m turvaetäisyys on pidettävä laboratorioissa, toimistoissa, kiltahuoneessa jne. sekä muistettava käsihygienia. Iso osa opetuksesta tulee olemaan etäopetusta. Labrakurssit tullaan järjestämään niin normaalisti kuin mahdollista. Tarkempia ohjeita syksyn alun kursseja koskien tulee lähiaikoina kurssien opettajilta.
