Researcher position/ Cytokine signaling
Molecular Immunology group at University of Tampere, investigates cytokine signaling with special emphasis on hematological diseases and cancer.
We are looking for a highly motivated researcher, either MSc or postdoc, to join our team. Our research focuses on two areas of cytokine signaling: Characterization and pharmacological targeting of pseudokinases, and the function of SND1 (Tudor-SN) in in vivo disease models, http://www.uta.fi/med/en/research/medicalbiochemistry/index.html

The projects require enthusiasm for science and experience in molecular and cell biology, protein chemistry and cell-based assays. Previous experience in structural biology, preclinical drug development or mouse models is considered beneficial.
The position will be initially filled for two year. Salary is based on the standards of the University of Tampere salary system.
