Greetings!

We are writing to promote our research project that is organized through OYY. This project is very complex to explain in a few sentences; however, please allow us to briefly outline it a little.

The purpose of the research is to understand more about the international situation at the University of Oulu by examining students’ profiles and perceptions; also, we are examining the relationship between Finns and non-Finns. This research is practical and observing non-academic life. We are looking at many variables in our research.

We have two questionnaires: one for Finnish students and another for non-Finnish students. Here are the links to both.

We plan to use the results to create reports for the student union and each faculty. Also, we will use the results in creating training documents for international student representatives in each guild.

We are writing to request that you encourage your students to participate in the survey. Our project’s success depends on having as many participants as possible.
