Dear all,

At the meeting this morning we decided to use a slight variation on a name submitted by a student for the new center to promote Protein Science in Oulu (and later maybe beyond Oulu into "northern scandinavia"). The name chosen was "Nord Prot". The web site will be set up during the 1st week of January . We still need a high resolution logo to sit in the top corner of every web page to promote "protein science". The leading contender so far is a simple slanted S shape design (looking vaguely beta-sheet like). If any of you have any ideas please submit them to me before the end of December.
